Electrical Project Manager

Description:

Crown House Technologies, a renowned MEP Engineering specialist within the Laing O'Rourke Group, is actively seeking an Electrical Project Manager to play a key role in delivering the electrical packages for the prestigious Hinkley Point C nuclear power station project. This is a pivotal role responsible for executing the project’s electrical works, ensuring successful handover, and closing out safety files for final project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee delivery of electrical packages for the Operations Service Centre at Hinkley Point C.
• Manage project execution, ensuring work is carried out to high standards in line with regulatory and safety requirements.
• Drive project progress within a highly regulated nuclear environment, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure compliance with H&S legislation, engineering systems, and company standards.
• Manage innovative work methods, materials selection, and safe systems of work.
• Collaborate with colleagues and subcontractors to achieve project milestones.
• Deliver complete documentation and safety files for final project handover.

Skills & Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent construction or design-related degree).
• Alternatively, NVQ Level 4 with demonstrable project delivery experience in design and construction environments.
• Strong background in large, regulated projects – particularly in the nuclear or similarly complex industries.
• Proven experience delivering MEP packages valued between £15m – £100m+.
• Ability to apply engineering principles and calculations effectively.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to manage teams and drive project success.
• Practical knowledge of innovative materials, methods, and modern construction techniques.
