Evaluation Advisor

Description:

The Environment Agency is seeking a dedicated Evaluation Advisor to join its regulation and enforcement arm, focusing on delivering evaluations that strengthen environmental protection and resilience. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to safeguarding the environment while working in a collaborative, supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse complex datasets, even when incomplete or imperfect.

• Apply appropriate analytical methods to draw meaningful insights.

• Interpret evidence and develop practical recommendations for regulatory and enforcement strategies.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to share evaluation findings.

• Communicate results clearly via reports and presentations.

• Undertake an incident management role in line with EA requirements.

Contract Details:

• Fixed-term until 30 September 2026

• Hybrid working with flexible arrangements (part-time and job share welcome)

• MS Teams interviews scheduled for early October 2026

• Reserve list will be maintained for 6 months
