Our client is a leading organiser of B2B events, bringing together industry experts, thought leaders, and decision-makers to foster engagement, innovation, and commercial growth. Their portfolio of events is highly respected, delivering exceptional experiences and measurable business outcomes.

The Marketing Manager will lead high-impact marketing campaigns for major B2B events as well as take full ownership of strategy and execution for large-scale conferences.

The role is to work across digital, social, partnerships and PR while managing significant budgets and reporting directly to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and implement end-to-end marketing strategy across the event portfolio
  • Budget creation and allocation
  • Working with telesales teams to drive registrations
  • Lead brand development and ensure consistent execution across all touchpoints
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to align marketing output with commercial objectives
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyse data, and optimise strategy to meet ambitious targets
  • Driving and reporting on MQLs (delegate and sponsor quality/conversion)

Requirements

  • Proven track record in marketing for B2B events with 1,000+ attendees
  • Strategic thinker with strong hands-on execution capability
  • Highly data-literate, with the ability to interpret insights and optimise campaigns
  • Excellent communicator with strong storytelling and commercial acumen
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams, agencies, and budgets
  • Passionate about live experiences and creating compelling, value-led marketing campaigns
