Berkmann Wine Cellars, the UK’s largest family-owned premium wine importer since 1964, is seeking a talented and creative Events Manager to join their dynamic marketing team. This role is ideal for a passionate events professional with a flair for curating sophisticated and brand-aligned experiences in the luxury wine industry.

As an Events Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a compelling annual events strategy that showcases the prestige of Berkmann’s wine portfolio. This includes organizing and leading the flagship portfolio tastings, luxury client experiences such as ski and shooting trips, winery tours, and exclusive brand activations. Your role will be pivotal in aligning event experiences with the company’s premium identity and marketing objectives.

You’ll be expected to manage all aspects of event planning, from budgeting and supplier coordination to promoting through PR and marketing channels. Collaboration with senior leadership and cross-functional teams is vital to ensure seamless execution and commercial success.

Ideal candidates will bring a blend of creative vision and logistical expertise, along with a passion for wine, food, and hospitality. WSET qualifications and knowledge of the UK’s on-trade and off-trade wine landscape are advantageous. The role demands exceptional communication skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to deliver high-end experiences under pressure.

Working Pattern:
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 9:00 – 17:30). Must be flexible for events, including evenings and weekends. Minimum 3 days per week required in the London head office. Some national travel required.
