Field Support Engineer

Description:

In this pivotal role, you’ll be the vital link between Sales, R&D, and customers, driving commercial success by delivering expert technical consultancy, shaping innovative product designs (connectors, cable assemblies, electronics), and ensuring winning technical proposals. You’ll work hands on with customers both onsite and digitally, championing next generation connectivity.

What You’ll Do

• Engage Customers: Lead technical customer visits, uncover real engineering challenges, and translate them into robust, future ready solutions.
• Design Solutions: Use CAD (CREO) and ERP (SAP) to design, scope, test, and validate engineered interconnect solutions that are cost effective and ready for production.
• Lead Projects: Own the technical side of bids, collaborate with global R&D teams, and drive continuous improvement across processes and product development.

What You’ll Bring

• A degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent proven experience), with hands on exposure to technical field support, prototyping, or design-in engineering.
• Strong proficiency with CAD and ERP systems.
• Demonstrated success in creating interconnect solutions that deliver reliable signal, data, and power performance.
• A self driven, collaborative mindset with excellent communication and presentation skills paired with structured, analytical problem-solving abilities.
