Financial Controller

We have an exciting opportunity to join our existing finance team. We are looking for those of you who wish to grow with us as a business in our Bromsgrove office with hybrid working opportunities. Key Responsibilities As Our Financial Controller Will Include
 

• Leadership of financial control team of six
• Lead production and review of monthly management accounts P&L and Balance sheet for presentation to Group FC, and other internal & external stakeholders
• Ensure controls in place to support business growth, including: balance sheet reconciliations; payment and systems controls; and review of financial MI. Continued review and development of processes to become best in class
• Working closely with department heads to: discuss budget variances and understand the drivers; share best practices; and other business partnering
• Support annual audit process and other strategic finance initiatives
   

What we are looking for in our ideal Financial Controller:
 

• Leadership and management experience
• Qualified accountant or QBE with extensive experience
• Demonstrable history of running financial control and management account’s function and driving improvement
• Effective organisational and planning skills.
• Able to work to deadlines.
• Delivery focused, with a drive for quality throughout.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
