Financial Controller

Description:

Financial Controller for a manufacturing business with turnover of around £30m, operating within a wider group.

You’ll lead the transactional finance team and take ownership of financial reporting, controls, month end and year end. The role also involves reporting into the parent company and working closely with the local leadership team.

People leadership matters as much as technical accounting ability here. I’m looking for someone who can develop the team, maintain strong financial control and communicate clearly across the business and group.

You’ll be ACA qualified or hold an equivalent professional qualification. You could be a career industry Financial Controller, or have started in audit or financial services and since gained experience working in industry. Experience in a business of similar scale, with parent company reporting requirements, would be particularly relevant.
