Aon is seeking an experienced Claims Advocate – Financial Lines to join its highly collaborative Global Claims team. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing complex Financial Lines claims on behalf of some of the world’s most recognized financial institutions. The role offers the flexibility of hybrid working, with time split between Aon’s Chelmsford and London offices, providing an excellent balance of professional development and work-life balance.

Your responsibilities will include managing the full claims lifecycle from notification to settlement, ensuring smooth handling of Directors & Officers (D&O), Professional Indemnity (PI), and Crime claims. You will lead negotiations with underwriters, clients, brokers, loss adjusters, lawyers, and other appointed authorities to achieve successful claim resolutions. Additionally, you will conduct data analysis to identify trends and patterns in claims, providing insights that inform client strategies and portfolio management.

This position requires you to act as a trusted advocate for clients, ensuring strong communication and coordination between all stakeholders. You will engage with senior leadership, including the Head of Financial Lines Advocacy, on contentious claims, and occasionally attend high-level meetings with international clients and brokers in London.
