We are hiring a Freelance IT Support Engineer to support clients across London, providing hands-on assistance for hardware, software, and network-related issues. This is a freelance opportunity with flexible scheduling, ideal for experienced IT professionals who enjoy client-facing roles and delivering independent on-site solutions.

You’ll be the first point of contact for end users, responsible for setup, troubleshooting, and support involving Windows systems, Office 365, Active Directory, and VPN configurations. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a high level of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-person technical support for PCs, laptops, printers, and office peripherals

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues

  • Manage IT service tickets via platforms like ServiceNow, Jira, etc.

  • Support user accounts and permissions through Active Directory

  • Ensure full tech functionality in meeting rooms and workspaces

  • Deliver a customer-focused support experience at every step

  • Be prepared to travel within the city when needed

Requirements:

  • Proven L1–L2 IT Support experience (L3 preferred)

  • Competency in Windows OS, Office 365 suite, AD, and VPN systems

  • Experience using IT service ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer support skills

  • A valid UK driving license and personal transport are a plus

  • Availability to start immediately or at short notice
