Description:

Are you passionate about nature and wildlife? Do you have strong communication skills and enjoy engaging with people? Join RSPB, Europe’s largest nature conservation charity, as a Fundraiser, and make a real impact for nature and conservation.

In this exciting and flexible role, you will use a company van to travel to different venues around your local area, set up eye-catching fundraising stands, and actively engage with the public to raise awareness and encourage new RSPB memberships via direct debit sign-ups.

Key Responsibilities:
✅ Travel to different venues locally using the company van (fuel and parking covered).
✅ Set up engaging fundraising stands to attract public attention.
✅ Speak passionately about RSPB’s conservation efforts, encouraging people to become members.
✅ Meet membership targets through direct engagement and storytelling.
✅ Work outdoors and often independently, managing your own schedule and venue visits.

About You:
✔ Passionate about nature and conservation (wildlife knowledge is not required – full training provided).
✔ Resilient and comfortable working to targets.
✔ Strong people skills, storytelling ability, and confidence engaging the public.
✔ Full UK driving licence required.
✔ Willing to work 3 weekends out of 4.
✔ Happy to travel up to an hour from home each day.
✔ Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
✔ Previous fundraising, sales, customer service, hospitality, or volunteering experience is desirable, but not essential.
