We are currently seeking a highly skilled and strategic Head of Network to manage the large-scale national infrastructure network of our client. This is a crucial leadership role where you will be responsible for defining the strategy, optimizing operations, and ensuring the long-term sustainability of the network. You will lead a team while working cross-functionally to align the network decisions with the broader business strategy, driving continuous improvements in key areas like quality, cost, safety, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Management: Lead the end-to-end strategy for the national network infrastructure, ensuring operational excellence and alignment with business goals.

• Team Leadership: Manage and inspire a team, ensuring high performance across multiple regions.

• Innovation and Transformation: Drive innovation within the network, ensuring the infrastructure is future-proofed and adaptable to changing needs.

• Performance Monitoring: Regularly monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve operational performance and customer satisfaction.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with finance, technology, and commercial teams to ensure strategy and investment align with broader business objectives.

• Compliance and Standards: Ensure that the network complies with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards, upholding the highest quality standards.

Skills & Experience:

• Leadership Experience: Proven track record in operations, network management, or infrastructure leadership, with the ability to lead large teams and complex projects.

• Strategic & Commercial Mindset: Strong ability to develop and execute strategies with a keen understanding of business drivers and commercial implications.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience managing relationships across different levels of the organization.

• Budget & Project Management: Experience in managing large budgets and overseeing complex projects to completion.

• Sustainability & Innovation Knowledge: Familiarity with sustainability practices and digital innovation within operational environments, ensuring that the network is not only efficient but also environmentally and socially responsible.

• Adaptability: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site, customer-driven environment.
