Description:

Airbus Operations Limited is seeking a Head of Site Security at its Prestwick site. The role is responsible for defining, developing, and implementing Airbus security policies and directives to protect the site, its people, assets, and processes. The Head of Site Security ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, manages the operational security budget, and oversees security workforce and suppliers to maintain high standards of site protection.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain security policies, directives, procedures, and Risk Registers.

• Deliver a comprehensive Site Security Plan and ensure compliance with relevant legislation (Secret Act, Airport, Maritime Transport).

• Plan and support surveillance, audits, and security awareness campaigns.

• Centralize security events, inform management, and report on Security KPIs.

• Manage internal security workforce and contractors, ensuring preventive and reactive measures.

• Lead emergency and contingency planning, and act as first response during major incidents.

• Serve as the site focal point for all physical security matters and develop stakeholder relationships.

• Coordinate activities with external agencies to enhance security and fire prevention.

• Oversee guarding, surveillance, reception, office security services, transport security, and monitoring security systems.

• Inspire innovative security solutions and lead Multi Functional Teams to achieve objectives.

Required Skills:

• Level 5 qualification in Security Management or equivalent experience.

• Strong background in security management within commercial or industrial sectors.

• Demonstrated application of Security Risk Assessments and mitigation measures.

• Complementary skills in Risk Management and Emergency Planning.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to analyze complex issues.

• Native-level English; other languages are a plus.
