Life Sciences Hub Wales is seeking a Healthcare Market Analyst to join its Innovation and Adoption Team, based in Cardiff with a hybrid work arrangement. This is an exceptional opportunity for an analytical and research-oriented individual passionate about healthcare innovation and life sciences.

The successful candidate will contribute significantly to shaping the future of health and wellbeing in Wales and beyond by researching and interpreting complex market intelligence, identifying trends, and evaluating innovative solutions across healthcare, medical technology, precision medicine, pharmaceuticals, and digital health technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth market feasibility assessments and technology evaluations for healthcare innovation projects.

• Analyze trends and evidence within the Welsh, UK, and international healthcare and life sciences sectors.

• Support project development by providing data-driven insights for innovators and adopters of transformative health solutions.

• Incorporate health economics and cost-effectiveness insights into innovation planning.

• Engage with stakeholders at the local, national, and international level.

• Contribute to strategic communication initiatives, including PR and marketing activities.

• Generate clear, concise reports and briefings that guide decision-making within innovation programs.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information.

• A good understanding of healthcare systems and life sciences markets.

• Effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

• Experience or knowledge of innovation development, health economics, and/or market assessment in the life sciences context is desirable.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile team environment.
