Description:
Notting Hill Genesis, one of London’s largest and most respected housing associations, is offering an opportunity for Supported Housing Assistants who have been working on a temporary basis to transition into permanent or fixed-term contracts. This role is part of the organisation’s onboarding process rather than a competitive recruitment procedure, ensuring continuity for those who have already been contributing to the team.
As a Supported Housing Assistant, you will continue the responsibilities outlined during your temporary assignment, working closely with residents and colleagues to provide excellent housing and support services. This role offers the chance to grow professionally within a stable, supportive, and mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Continue delivering high-quality housing support services as per the duties defined in the initial temporary assignment.
Work collaboratively with managers, colleagues, and residents to provide consistent support and assistance.
Maintain a focus on customer service and uphold the values of Notting Hill Genesis.
Support compliance with any new professional qualification requirements pending legislative changes.
Requirements:
Previous experience in housing support or a related service role (through existing temporary assignment).
Passion for delivering excellent service to residents and communities.
Willingness to work towards relevant professional qualifications if required.
Ability to work collaboratively, proactively, and in alignment with the organisation’s values.
