Wright Concrete Products, part of The Wright Group based in Rockcorry, Co. Monaghan, is seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee and manage a broad spectrum of human resource functions within the organization. The company is a leading manufacturer and supplier of concrete products throughout Ireland and the UK, and they offer this position with flexibility to work either a 4-day or 5-day week.

As the HR Manager, you will be instrumental in managing recruitment, performance management, training, employee relations, and ensuring compliance with current employment law. This role is ideal for a proactive, solutions-oriented HR professional with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full recruitment and onboarding lifecycle, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and employee orientation.

• Handle employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions and grievance resolutions.

• Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to issue quarterly employee newsletters and organize staff wellbeing events.

• Promote the Employee Assistance Programme and health/wellbeing resources.

• Provide expert HR advice to senior management and ensure consistent implementation of the Company Handbook policies.

• Identify training needs and manage the design and delivery of internal training programs.

• Review staff time and attendance for accurate payroll processing.

• Develop and implement HR policies that align with legal requirements and business objectives.

• Oversee performance management systems including appraisals and feedback processes.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• A degree or professional qualification in Human Resource Management or a related field.

• At least 3 years’ experience in a generalist HR role with exposure to advising managers on various HR issues.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with stakeholders across the organization.

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; prior experience with HR systems is advantageous.

Working Schedule:

• Full-time (option for 4 or 5 days per week)

• On-site position based in Monaghan, Ireland
