Description:

Schneider Electric is hiring a highly skilled HV and LV Service Engineer responsible for maintaining and testing low and high voltage electrical distribution systems ranging from 400V to 33kV. The role involves work across switchgear, transformers, and associated protection equipment.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Conducting routine maintenance and functional testing on electrical distribution systems

• Testing and validating protection relays and devices

• Performing site risk assessments and contributing to the creation of method statements

• Recording and reporting technical test results and producing detailed site work documentation

• Supporting the formulation of service proposals and assisting in factory work tests

• Delivering training to customers and supporting knowledge transfer

• Promoting Schneider Electric’s service portfolio and identifying business development opportunities

• Participating in the On-Call rota system to support customer operations as needed

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Holds a full driving license and valid passport

• Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Shows a solid grasp of electrical safety protocols in HV environments

• Comfortable working solo or in collaborative, multi-location settings

• Academic background (ONC or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
