We have multiple job opportunities for various #HVDC Engineering roles based with our client in the UK.

This role is designed to interpret the customer’s technical inquiry and to design the most cost-effective overall solution for an #HVDC installation utilizing the #PES power electronics solutions, aiming to minimize the total cost and to specify the main (high-value) items of bought-out equipment. The successful candidate will be involved in the development and industrialization of solutions tools and processes and will have technical knowledge in the field of power system engineering (academic or professional).

Qualifications

Holder of a Master of Engineering degree or equivalent from an accredited institution, including Electrical Power Systems and Power Electronics subjects

#HVDC domain experience.

Practical experience in performing the specific aspects of design, implementation, and testing of high-voltage AC or DC power transmission schemes and equipment.

• Power Network Analysis (#PSS/E, #DigSilent, #Eurostag)
• EMT Software (#PSCAD, #EMTP-RV, #ATP)
• #MATLAB & #Simulink.
