Import Coordinator

Description:

As an Ocean Import Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in managing the smooth transportation of goods across Ocean Freight - making sure it's cost-effective and reliable.

Role:

• Coordinating Import shipments from start to finish using Ocean/Sea freight
• Working with clients and carriers to choose the best routes and modes based on cost and time
• Negotiating rates with customers to ensure competitive pricing
• Handling the paperwork including bills, customs forms, and contracts
• Monitoring shipments and update clients
• Ensuring customs requirements are met
• Build great relationships with clients
• Find ways to improve our transportation process

Requirements:

• At least 2 year of experience in Ocean Imports
• Know the ins and outs of shipments, including hazardous goods.
• Understand customs procedures and paperwork.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Familiar with shipping terms.
• Able to meet deadlines and work with customers.
