Infrastructure Director

Description:

Pegasus Group, a dynamic development consultancy with expertise across residential, health, education, retail, energy, leisure, and employment sectors, is seeking an Infrastructure Director (Civil Engineering). This role will establish and lead a new Civil Engineering Infrastructure team in Liverpool (other options: Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle) and support the continued growth of a wide-ranging client portfolio across the UK.

The Infrastructure Director will drive the success of the Transport & Infrastructure Business through strategic decision-making, collaboration with key leads and directors, overseeing local operations, and ensuring long-term business growth. The role involves expanding talent, enhancing expertise geographically, offering localized services, and leading high-quality civil engineering design services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and lead a Civil Engineering Infrastructure team.

• Promote business growth through strategic decision-making and collaboration.

• Identify new commercial opportunities and secure new business in the consultancy/private sector.

• Contribute to business development strategies, growth plans, and process improvements.

• Deliver civil engineering infrastructure services for private and adoptable works.

• Oversee planning, tendering, and construction processes.

• Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal, planning, consent, adoption processes, and contract procedures.

• Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.

• Manage workload effectively, supporting others as necessary.
