Investment Operations Associate

Description:

Our client, a respected boutique equities house, is looking for a bright and motivated candidate to join their investment operations team. A background in fund administration or coding would compliment Investment Operations experience well. The ability to prioritise multiple competing work streams is essential as there is plenty of opportunity to get involved with projects. This is a perfect opportunity for a candidate looking to learn more about all aspects of investments Management, with plenty of exposure to a variety of teams.

The role:

• Daily oversight of external valuation processes and the trade life cycle.
• Cash management, corporate actions and emphasis on upgrading the internal systems.
• Relationship management with custodians, brokers and outsource back and middle office providers. The team is also responsible for fund admin.
• Anything covering traditional investment operations; performance analysis, attribution, requests for data, trade support, settlements, and client services.

The candidate will have:

• Equities experience within Investment Operations (2 years+ of experience)
• A strong mathematical or coding background and outstanding attention to detail
• Experience working with Bloomberg, Factset, Omgeo or Markit
• A hard working and enthusiastic approach to work
