IT Automation Engineer

We are looking for a IT Automation Engineer to join our IT team in Leavesden.

What you'll do:
 

• Identify and explore opportunities for service and business improvement. Drive the analysis, identification, prioritisation and implementation of improvements and efficiencies, thereby ensuring that the organisation derives maximum value from services.
• Uses a modern standard (DevOps, etc.) approach throughout automation and testing. Strong understanding of the most appropriate modern standards and practices.
• Use agreed process and standards to design, create, test, and amend automation implementation.
• Redevelop and migrate legacy automated processes into Microsoft Azure complying with best practice.
• Review integrations and applications and develop changes based on business needs.
   

What you'll bring to the role:
 

• Have strong knowledge on PowerShell script, C# (.NET framework and Core), SQL, Rest API.
• Excellent configuration management and development skills in an orchestration tool like System Centre Orchestrator.
• Strong knowledge on Azure automation components such as Runbook, Logic Apps and Function Apps.
• In-depth knowledge of all DevOps practises with a focus on current automation technologies and how to apply them.
• Cloud and on-prem automation.
