IT Manager

The IT Manager will join a growing technology team dedicated to delivering customer-centric solutions and support for core business systems. The role includes building and managing a team of subject matter experts while overseeing key IT infrastructure and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee IT infrastructure, business applications, and end-user support services across the organisation.
• Manage the performance and relationship with external 3rd-party managed service providers.
• Act as a key stakeholder in managing 3rd-party vendor relationships.
• Develop and enforce IT policies, ensuring alignment with company procedures.
• Drive improvements in the technology landscape to reduce risks and stay updated with advancements.
• Manage the IT budget, optimising costs for technology services and solutions.
• Provide hands-on technical expertise for implementations and issue resolution.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues.
• Propose innovative solutions for process and cost efficiencies.

Key Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years in a senior technical role (e.g., Senior Technical Engineer, IT Lead, IT Manager).
• Leadership experience managing a small team of support engineers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft technologies (M365, MS Azure).
• Networking expertise (WAN, LAN, VPNs, Switching, Routing).
• Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems.
• Knowledge of infrastructure scripting (PowerShell, Python).
• Strong technical management skills and knowledge of hardware/software systems.
• A proactive and motivated approach to project delivery.
