IT Support Engineer

Location: Exeter,Devon

We are currently looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join a well established, innovative Managed Service Provider in Exeter, Devon.

The successful candidate will provide technical support to customers and end-users, troubleshoot problems, and maintain a high level of service delivery. In addition to this, you will get involved in exciting project work and visit customer sites.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and assistance to customers and end-users, via both onsite and remote support

• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues

• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals

• Provide training and technical advice to customers and end-users

• Create and maintain technical documentation

• Monitor system performance and ensure system security

• Participate in the implementation of new systems and technologies

• Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Experience within an MSP environment is a plus

• Technical Knowledge of Windows Server, Networking, and Virtualization Technologies such as Hyper-V or VMWare

• Knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, and other cloud technologies

• Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
