QVC, a globally recognized live social shopping company and part of the QVC Group, Inc., is seeking a Junior Buyer – Beauty to join its dynamic buying team in London. The QVC Group is a Fortune 500 organization encompassing six leading retail brands — QVC®, HSN®, Ballard Designs®, Frontgate®, Garnet Hill®, and Grandin Road®. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with some of the most prestigious beauty brands such as Neom, Estée Lauder, Murad, Phillip Kingsley, and L’Occitane, driving the product strategy and growth of QVC’s beauty category.

As a Junior Buyer, you will play a key role in developing and sourcing a unique and trend-driven beauty product portfolio, aligning with QVC’s long-term brand strategy. The position requires a balance of analytical, creative, and negotiation skills to ensure the delivery of high-quality products that meet sales, margin, and customer satisfaction goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source, develop, and manage a compelling beauty product range that aligns with QVC’s brand identity and sales targets.

• Negotiate competitive pricing, trade terms, and promotional opportunities with suppliers to optimize profitability.

• Work collaboratively with Planning, Category Merchandising, Digital, and other cross-functional teams to assess performance and expand the category portfolio.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and brand partners, conducting regular reviews and trade visits.

• Implement pricing strategies, ensuring alignment with market trends, category budgets, and sales forecasts.

• Oversee the critical path for assigned product categories, ensuring timely launches and product availability.

• Prepare detailed briefs for key campaigns, product events, and special promotions, including TSVs and omni-channel initiatives.

• Collaborate with international buying teams to coordinate global brand and product strategies.

• Stay abreast of market developments, new trends, and competitor activities to support continuous innovation.

• Partner with the Buying Manager in supplier meetings, brand reviews, and business strategy discussions.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience as an Assistant Buyer or Junior Buyer, preferably in the beauty industry.

• Strong passion for beauty products, emerging trends, and consumer preferences.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and drive commercial decisions.

• Experience in product lifecycle management, from sourcing through launch and review.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and manage multiple priorities.
