HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Lead or support multiple packaging projects and programs to deliver sustainable packaging solutions whilst ensuring that the packaging is compliant with all relevant food safety requirements & quality standards.
- Lead a team member primarily responsible for Sustainable Packaging activity.
- Develop and monitor the Kellogg's Sustainable Packaging Roadmap ensuring key stakeholder requirements are incorporated in the plan.
- Communicate progress against our Sustainability goals using criteria such as Packaging Reduction (Tonnes), % Recyclability of our portfolio, CO2 reduction v target.
- Represents Kellogg’s Technical Packaging as a Sustainability Subject Matter Expert (SME).
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
- Strong understanding of packaging development, materials, and processes.
- Experience of developing and designing packaging that has led to a positive change in a company’s Environmental footprint.
- Have an understanding of the key legislation affecting Sustainable Packaging design.
- Understand sustainability metrics and data requirements, end of life designation (compostable, recyclable, reusable, landfill), sourcing and content.
- Handling data and applying statistical methodology to reach conclusions and make recommendations.
- Able to demonstrate troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Understand packaging specifications and quality requirements.
