Kingsley is representing a highly successful client in the commercial property sector that is expanding its Lease Advisory division. They are recruiting for a Lease Consultancy Surveyor at Director/Partner or Associate level to join their Oxfordshire-based team. This is a strategic and newly created role aimed at driving business growth and delivering exceptional lease advisory services.

The successful candidate will work with a dynamic team, advising both property owners and occupiers across a range of commercial sectors including office, retail, industrial, and the rapidly growing scientific and R&D sector. With responsibilities spanning rent reviews, lease renewals, complex lease re-gears, and expert witness services, this role offers a robust platform for professional impact and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute rent reviews and lease renewals for retained and non-retained clients.

• Deliver expert advice on complex lease re-gears and negotiations.

• Act as an expert witness in arbitration, court proceedings, and third-party references.

• Offer strategic insights and lease consultancy to high-profile clients, including in the scientific sector.

• Drive business development in Oxfordshire, cultivating new relationships and growing the client base.

• Supervise and mentor junior staff, including graduates.

• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to generate cross-functional business opportunities.

• Stay current with developments in landlord and tenant legislation and professional best practices.

Candidate Requirements:

• MRICS qualified with a strong track record in lease advisory roles.

• Demonstrated experience in handling lease renewals, rent reviews, and expert witness cases.

• Sound understanding of the Landlord & Tenant Act 1954 and the Arbitration Act 1996.

• Ability to manage clients confidently and deliver high-level consultancy.

• Proven leadership and team collaboration capabilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word at intermediate level or above).

Remuneration & Benefits:

• Basic Salary: £60,000 to £80,000 (flexible depending on experience)

• Car Allowance: £6,000 to £7,000 (depending on experience)
