Legal Technology Case Management Developer

Description:

Penningtons Law is seeking a Legal Technology Case Management Developer to join its dynamic team focused on developing and improving legal technology solutions. The firm is undergoing a significant technology transformation, and this role will be pivotal in delivering and enhancing legal case management workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Develop and improve case management workflows within legal software.
✔ Gather business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications.
✔ Maintain development trackers to track individual workload.
✔ Challenge decisions and recommendations using a logic-based approach.
✔ Work closely with vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders across the firm.
✔ Keep skills up to date and take responsibility for self-development.
✔ Identify opportunities for improvements in existing solutions.
✔ Maintain comprehensive documentation of workflows and processes.
✔ Define acceptance criteria and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
✔ Provide end-user support for the Case Management System via email, phone, and in-person assistance.

Essential Skills & Experience:

✔ Minimum 1 year of experience in case management development within the legal/professional services industry.
✔ Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
✔ Ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels, from board members to external vendors.
✔ Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex requirements and translate them into robust solutions.
✔ Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and manage workloads independently.
✔ Basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL database querying.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

✔ Familiarity with .NET, Dell Boomi, and JavaScript.
✔ Experience with Microsoft Dataverse.
✔ Exposure to complex IT projects and professional services industries.
✔ Prior experience in legal technology or working within a law firm environment.
