A prestigious and forward-thinking regional law firm is seeking a Newly Qualified Solicitor (NQ) or up to 2 years’ PQE to join its Employment & Immigration team in Guildford. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team that provides commercially driven legal solutions to a diverse client base across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Managing Employment Tribunal claims from initiation through to resolution.

• Drafting and reviewing contracts of employment, staff policies, and employee handbooks.

• Advising on and drafting settlement agreements.

• Providing employment law support on corporate transactions, including TUPE advice.

• Advising business owners and senior executives on individual employment matters.

• Guiding employers on redundancy processes and organisational restructuring.

• Delivering day-to-day employment law advice to clients.

• Supporting business immigration matters, including visa applications, sponsor licence processes, right-to-work checks, and immigration audits.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Solicitor qualified in England & Wales (NQ–2 PQE) with strong employment law knowledge.

• Team-oriented, enthusiastic, and eager to develop expertise in both employment and immigration law.

• Excellent communication and client relationship skills, with a commercial and solution-focused mindset.

• Highly organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple matters effectively.

• Willing to engage in business development activities to support the Guildford office’s growth.
