Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

Description:

Children's Montessori is looking for a qualified and passionate Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our early years setting in Gamlingay. Our nursery operates year-round and provides care for nursery-aged children, as well as a before and after-school / Holiday Club for children up to 9 years old. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality early education and care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate learning activities that support children's holistic development.
• Maintain accurate child development records and observations.
• Ensure children's safety and well-being at all times.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Collaborate with parents, carers, and other professionals.
• Assist with daily nursery routines, including meal times, nappy changing, and rest periods.
• Participate in staff meetings and continuous professional development.

Essential Requirements:

✅ Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (or equivalent)
✅ Current and valid Paediatric First Aid certificate
✅ Enhanced DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service)
✅ Excellent communication skills with both children and adults
✅ Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
✅ Commitment to safeguarding and child protection
✅ Ability to work as part of a collaborative team

Working Hours:

📅 Full-time: 38 hours per week, year-round

• Monday: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Friday: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM
