Description:
This is an exciting opportunity to onboard and influence the future of a recently commissioned reinforcement mesh production system, part of a newly opened heavy infrastructure assembly plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for and maintain control of all aspects of daily Safety, Quality and Productivity.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensuring that production processes are in line with company and regulatory requirements.
- Accurately completing all necessary documentation for regulatory compliance
- Informing a production team of preferred occupational heath & safety practices
- Communicating expectations to production team members and evaluating their performance
- Implementing relevant emergency response procedures during emergency situations
- Regularly checking the machinery and checkpoints to ensure safe and efficient workflow
- Compiling production reports and providing updates to the Project Leader
- Managing the communication for repair r replacement of faulty production equipment
- Ensuring all resources and assets are used efficiently and correctly
- Workforce competency and welfare
Requirements
- Manufacturing experience is essential
- Strong client facing skills
- Experience managing large teams in a high-paced environment
- Production process experience
- Capable of working within a dynamic team and delivering against production targets
