Marketing & Content Executive

Description:

We’re looking for a proactive Marketing & Content Executive to join the team at our Newcastle head office.

You’ll support campaign activity, create engaging content, and manage our social channels to grow brand awareness and drive engagement across our range of brands. This is a fantastic role for a recent graduate with ~2 years’ industry experience who’s passionate about events, social media, graphic design and working in a young and fast-growing team across different sectors.

Key responsibilities

•          Plan, create and schedule content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter and YouTube

•          Manage and optimise social media ad campaigns (creative, targeting, budgets,  reporting)

•          Produce on-brand graphics, visuals and short-form video content for channels and ads

•          Monitor social performance, produce regular reports and recommend improvements

•          Assist with content calendars, blog posts, email campaigns and other marketing collateral

•          Support SEO and digital marketing activities where required (keyword research, on-page recommendations)

•          Maintain and update website content (WordPress/Shopify) as needed

•          Work with internal teams and external suppliers (freelance designers, videographers, content creators) to deliver campaigns

•          Stay current on platform best practices, trends and competitor activity

Essential Requirements:

•          Degree in Digital Marketing or a closely related discipline

•          Approximately 2 years’ industry experience (agency experience desirable but not essential)

•          Hands-on experience managing social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube)

•          Experience running social media ads and analysing campaign performance

•          Strong graphic design skills and a clear passion for visual content creation

•          Excellent written communication, attention to detail and organisational skills

•          Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment
