Motor Vehicle Technician

A prestigious and luxurious automotive retailer in the South of the UK is looking to recruit a Motor Vehicle Technician for their Bramshaw, Lyndhurst dealership. The company is known for representing high-end luxury car brands and seeks a skilled and experienced technician with a background in premium automotive servicing. This role offers the opportunity to work in a professional, cutting-edge workshop environment and would ideally suit a qualified VAG Technician looking to transition into the luxury sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use diagnostic tools and a structured methodology to identify and repair vehicle faults.

• Consult with customers when required to understand and resolve specific vehicle issues.

• Stay current with the latest vehicle technologies and brand-specific updates.

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and routine servicing to manufacturer specifications.

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors on complex diagnostic or repair tasks.

• Conduct quality assurance checks including road tests and diagnostic reviews post-repair.

• Complete all necessary service and compliance documentation in line with brand standards.

• Conduct vehicle health checks and provide supporting customer videos where applicable.

Essential Requirements:

• Proficient with modern vehicle diagnostic systems and tools.

• Strong commitment to delivering high-quality work and service standards.

• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

• Full UK driving license required.

• Level 3 NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent qualification).

• Experience within a luxury automotive dealership or a main dealer environment preferred.

• VOSA MOT certification is a plus but not mandatory.
