Operations Director

Go10, a rapidly growing tech-enabled distribution company servicing major UK retailers and direct-to-consumer (D2C) channels, is hiring an experienced and strategic Operations Director. This fully remote UK-based leadership role will own and optimize all facets of operations — from logistics and warehousing to automation and customer service — playing a key role in driving scalability and operational efficiency as the business enters its next growth phase.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and scale the day-to-day operations including logistics, 3PL, returns, warehousing, and customer service.

• Take full accountability for operational cost control, including freight, logistics, and insurance expenses.

• Drive automation by managing the automation & IT team, reducing manual tasks and friction points.

• Oversee and optimize the returns workflow across D2C and B2B channels for balance between speed, cost, and quality.

• Serve as the internal lead on warehouse strategy, with practical experience in both 3PL and in-house models.

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations including GDPR, WEEE, product safety, and import documentation.

• Recruit, manage, and develop high-performing teams in logistics, support, and automation.

• Work in close partnership with the founder/MD to scale the business and evolve operations strategically.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• A proven background in distribution, eCommerce, or supply chain operations.

• In-depth knowledge of ERP/WMS systems, API integrations, and tools like Zapier or Make.com.

• Commercial acumen with experience managing operational P&L or specific cost lines.

• Demonstrated success in scaling operations in high-volume, fast-paced environments.

• A structured, proactive approach, with ability to lead by example and drive execution.

• Comfort with owning and optimizing returns strategies and implementing continuous improvements.
