Production Scientist

Description:

BBI Solutions is seeking a Production Scientist to join its Crumlin-based team. This is a permanent, full-time role within a global leader in reagents and diagnostic solutions, focused on improving health and saving lives. The Production Scientist will be responsible for manufacturing products, maintaining compliance with GMP standards, operating production equipment, and ensuring quality control across all processes. The role requires a strong scientific foundation, technical expertise, and a commitment to high-quality standards in both laboratory and production settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manufacturing tasks according to production schedules, batch records, and SOPs.

• Operate and maintain production equipment used in the manufacture of products.

• Complete in-process testing and ensure quality compliance for manufactured goods.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date batch records in line with GMP standards.

• Collaborate with different departments to optimize production efficiency.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process enhancements.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry).

• Previous experience in a production or laboratory environment, ideally in biotech or pharmaceuticals.

• Strong knowledge of GMP and ISO13485 standards.

• Attention to detail with excellent record-keeping skills.

• Proficiency with laboratory and production equipment.

• Good problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
