Description:
Wiley, a global leader in research and learning with over 200 years of experience, is seeking a Publisher to manage and develop a portfolio of health science journals. The role involves proactively evaluating journal performance, managing editor relationships, and driving content growth. The Publisher will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve objectives related to submissions, acceptances, and publications while staying aligned with Wiley’s strategic priorities.
The role requires knowledge of publishing trends, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work across multiple teams to ensure high-quality output. The Publisher will also mentor and provide thought leadership to team members and contribute to end-to-end publishing services, from submission through to publication. Some travel may be required.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
Awareness of publishing industry trends and ability to maximize journal potential
Strong relationship-building skills in a publishing context
Highly organized and able to manage complex portfolios
Problem-solving skills and independent judgment
Ability to secure buy-in from Editors and Societies for strategic alignment
