The position

Reporting to the Snr Strategic Group Procurement Manager. You will have the ability to build strong relationships and be confident working with key stakeholders across the business from commercial and technical teams up to Director level.

You will support global projects, providing budgetary quotes, formulating a tender process, evaluating the results and negotiating deals in line with the business requirements.

Preparing Purchase Orders and collaborating with Logistics when required to monitor on time delivery.

Identifying cost saving initiatives and developing framework agreements for Direct and Indirect goods with a large focus on professional service providers that operate within the energy sector environment.

There is not a heavy demand for frequent travel, however it may be required from time to time.

Qualifications

• A Professional qualification in procurement or business administration, alternatively demonstrable experience in procurement sourcing and contract management
• Strong IT Skills, proficient with Microsoft applications and knowledge of ERP systems. (IFS and Novacura would be advantageous)
• Experience of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 (or OHSAS 189001)
• General knowledge of power generation is not a necessity but preferable.
