As well as personal and business bank accounts, we offer joint accounts, accounts for 16-17 year olds, a free kids account and credit cards in the UK, with more exciting things to come beyond. Our UK customers can also save, invest and combine their pensions with us.
With our hot coral cards and get-paid-early feature, combined with financial education on social media and our award winning customer service, we have a long history of creating magical moments for our customers!

⭐Our Research team
The Monzo research team is currently made up of around 20 User Researchers, who spend most of their time embedded in multi-discipline teams focusing on different areas, like Wealth products, or Borrowing products. We also have a small research leadership team. You’ll work closely with our Research Operations Lead to make sure researchers are set up to deliver impactful insights and have the space to innovate safely, remaining compliant with regulatory requirements. The work we do drives excellent customer outcomes and commercial success, with direct impact on business strategy and decision-making.
🔑You’ll play a key role by...
- Becoming the go-to person for enabling and supporting everyone at Monzo to keep customers at the heart of our product by doing user research effectively and safely
- Driving training for non-researchers who are starting out on doing research themselves, supporting them to feel confident in their approach
- Onboarding new researchers into our research processes, setting them up for impact
- Overseeing and optimising our research tool stack, working closely with the vendors to improve how we use these tools, and influencing their roadmaps to meet Monzo’s evolving research needs
- Reporting on the research budget and tools usage, using this to forecast future needs in good time
- Owning process and content updates (like guides, templates, training materials) to continuously improve how we enable everyone at Monzo to do research in a way that’s robust and compliant, and fit for purpose as Monzo grows
- Supporting researchers working on more complex research projects, looping in relevant other teams as needed to advise (like data protection or information security or our vulnerable customers team)
- Partnering with the Research Ops Lead to identify and pursue new opportunities for advancing research impact at Monzo, from onboarding new tooling to streamlining workflows or other process changes
- Championing innovation and experimentation to keep our team on the forefront of changes in the industry, supporting researchers with new methods or approaches
- Regularly representing research ops to other teams and disciplines at Monzo, sharing our work clearly and openly to ensure it is understood and can be effectively used
