Retail Store Supervisor

Description:

Seasalt, a dynamic and customer-focused lifestyle retail brand, is seeking a Supervisor to join their Silverburn team on a permanent part-time basis (16 hours/week). This opportunity is ideal for someone with natural leadership skills, a passion for fashion, and a drive for excellent customer service.

As a Supervisor, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering a memorable shopping experience, managing team responsibilities, and supporting the Store and Assistant Store Managers in operational duties. You will be entrusted with key-holder responsibilities and expected to lead the store in their absence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide the team to deliver outstanding customer experiences

• Recommend and train staff on omni-channel services, customer engagement, and upselling strategies

• Support in achieving store sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)

• Execute visual merchandising standards and highlight commercial opportunities

• Train team members on product knowledge and Seasalt values

• Report store performance to management and contribute ideas for improvements

• Oversee store operations including stock management, health & safety, GDPR compliance, and cash handling

• Act as key-holder with responsibility during solo shifts

Candidate Profile:

• A confident and natural coach with strong product knowledge and service ethic

• Comfortable working towards targets and sales KPIs

• Commercially minded and able to make strategic in-store decisions

• Adaptable, resilient, and responsive to change

• Strong communicator, capable of providing constructive feedback and leading a team
