Retail Supervisor

Description:

Screwfix is seeking a passionate and dedicated Full-time Retail Supervisor for its Winsford branch. This role requires flexibility to work on both weekdays and weekends. As a key team leader, you will lead by example in delivering excellent customer service both on the shop floor and in the warehouse. You will ensure store standards are met, including cash reconciliations, customer query handling, audit compliance, and stock management. The role offers excellent training, development opportunities, and a chance to grow within a supportive and fun team environment.

Opening Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 7am to 8pm

• Saturday: 7am to 6pm

• Sunday: 9am to 4pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the team by hosting the store, setting standards for excellent customer service

• Guide customers to the right products and facilitate easy purchases

• Ensure smooth store operations including cash management, audits, and stock control

• Work collaboratively within a team that values pride in their store and fun working environment

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a supervisor or duty manager managing small teams in busy retail environments

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to drive sales

• Curious and proactive with a desire to continuously improve

• Passionate about the business

• Friendly, flexible, reliable, honest, and hardworking
