The Opportunity

 

We're looking for a driven and entrepreneurial Sales & Business Development Executive to help us grow our client base. This role is commission-based, making it ideal for someone with a strong network, confidence in selling innovative solutions, and a desire to earn based on results.

You’ll play a key role in identifying leads, building relationships, and closing deals with SMEs and enterprise clients, prioritising retail sector.

 

This is a hybrid, part-time role based in Newcastle upon Tyne, with flexible hours. It could suit a freelance sales professional, a self-employed consultant, or someone looking to break into startup tech with high earning potential.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Work with existing base of potential clients
  • Identify new business opportunities and generate qualified leads
  • Conduct outbound outreach and relationship building
  • Present and pitch OBX to potential clients
  • Work closely with leadership to shape sales strategy
  • Track progress in CRM and report on conversion metrics
  • Help guide prospects through to contract signature

 

Ideal Candidate Profile

 

Must-Have:

  • Strong sales skills and commercial instinct
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Based within commuting distance of Newcastle upon Tyne
