Lion Containers Ltd, the UK’s leading company in shipping container sales and high-quality container modifications, is seeking a Sales Executive to join its growing team in Wolverhampton. Established in 2012, Lion Containers has built a strong reputation for delivering eco-conscious, custom-built modular solutions across multiple industries such as construction, hospitality, engineering, and offshore.
As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving new business opportunities, managing inbound enquiries, and working closely with the design and production teams to provide tailored container modification solutions that meet diverse customer needs. Identify and develop new business opportunities across multiple sectors, including construction, manufacturing, and modular building industries.
Manage inbound sales enquiries efficiently and ensure proactive follow-up on potential leads.
Understand customer requirements and present bespoke container modification solutions aligned with project needs.
Prepare professional quotations, negotiate confidently, and close sales successfully.
Work collaboratively with design and production teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
Maintain up-to-date and accurate CRM records, track sales performance, and report on key metrics.
Conduct on-site client visits as needed to build strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction.
Proven B2B sales experience, ideally in construction, manufacturing, modular buildings, or related industries.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
Strong self-starter attitude with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
Effective at managing a sales pipeline and handling inbound calls and qualified leads.
Ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
Must hold a full UK driving licence and be open to occasional client site visits.
Competitive base salary of £27,000–£30,000 DOE with uncapped commission structure.
First-year OTE of £50,000 and second-year OTE of £70,000 (provable).
Monthly commission and performance-based bonuses (monthly, quarterly, and annual).
20 days annual holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to purchase up to 5 additional days.
