Description:

Next, a FTSE-100 retail leader and one of the UK’s largest fashion retailers, is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Manager for its Hereford Old Market store. This position offers the opportunity to lead a team, deliver outstanding customer experiences, and contribute directly to the store’s commercial success. You will manage day-to-day operations, motivate your team to exceed targets, and ensure a safe, efficient, and customer-focused environment.

As a Sales Manager, you will oversee all product areas and back-of-house operations, stepping in to run the store when needed. Your leadership will focus on creating a culture of exceptional service, operational excellence, and team collaboration. This role requires adaptability, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to inspire others in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the store management team across sales, operations, and stock management.

  • Lead and motivate the team to deliver outstanding service and meet performance targets.

  • Ensure commercial and operational processes are efficient, safe, and effective.

  • Maintain up-to-date communication to align with business objectives.

  • Work hands-on alongside the team, setting the example in all operational and customer service areas.

  • Manage stock accuracy and implement effective replenishment processes.

Working Hours:
36.5 hours per week – Sun 11:00-17:00; Mon/Tue/Wed 09:00-17:15; Thu 10:45-19:00.
