Description:
Samyang Foods UK, a leading Korean food company, is establishing a new UK subsidiary to expand sales and marketing efforts in the British market. The Area Sales Manager will drive B2B sales, build and maintain relationships with existing and new customers, and maximize sales opportunities across the European market. The role focuses on strategic growth, collaboration with marketing and supply chain teams, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers
Increase sales of existing products and introduce new products to customers
Conduct regular business review meetings
Develop and execute effective sales strategies tailored to regional market dynamics
Expand sales channels and product listings with new and existing customers
Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements in line with company policies
Collaborate with marketing and support teams to ensure product supply and alignment with campaigns
Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
Prepare and deliver impactful presentations to clients
Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
Skills and Experience Required:
Proven track record in B2B sales growth within FMCG or international markets
Understanding of European wholesaler and supermarket dynamics
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in multicultural teams
Proficiency in English; additional European or Korean language skills a plus
Willingness to travel as required
