Security Engineer

Description:

As a Security Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain robust security systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing and addressing security vulnerabilities, configuring and managing security solutions, conducting security reviews, and collaborating with colleagues to align security measures with business objectives. Additionally, you will support ongoing monitoring, troubleshooting, and risk mitigation initiatives to ensure the security of our systems and services.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Network Security and Application Security, including the ability to identify and address vulnerabilities effectively
• Experience with Cybersecurity practices, including risk assessment, threat modeling, and mitigation strategies
• Knowledge of Security Engineering and Information Security, with hands-on expertise in designing and implementing security controls
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to handle complex security challenges
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and translate technical requirements into actionable solutions
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks, such as GDPR or ISO standards, is advantageous
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
