Senior Accountant

Description:

A growing real estate firm is seeking an accounting professional who is looking to expand their skillset and learn from a pedigreed group of leaders. The position will encompass a mixture of GL accounting, reporting, audit and tax work. They are seeking someone with at least three years of experience.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries which include but are not limited to accruals, payroll, equity, intercompany, investments
• Prepare reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts including intercompany
• Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure
• Prepare for audits and be the main point of contact for external auditors
• Provide Grantor Letters to investors
• Support corporate income tax compliance
• Assist with investor distributions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related
• 3+ years of accounting experience
