Senior Occupational Health Nurse Consultant to join our Occupational Health, Hygiene & Wellbeing team.

Reporting to the Director of Occupational Health, Hygiene & Wellbeing, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality, multidisciplinary occupational health service to colleagues across the UK. This position offers the opportunity to combine clinical expertise, leadership and strategic influence, helping to shape wellbeing initiatives and occupational health services that support our workforce and contribute to a safe, healthy and productive working environment. You will also lead a small team of Occupational Health Nursing Advisors while working closely with stakeholders across the business to continuously improve service delivery.

What you'll be doing

You’ll work collaboratively with colleagues across Occupational Health, Health & Safety, and People & Organisation teams to deliver a professional, effective and legally compliant occupational health service. This will include providing occupational health assessments, case management support, health surveillance programmes and fitness for role screening, ensuring our employees receive the highest standard of care and support.

You’ll monitor occupational health activity and outcomes to ensure customer needs are met, maintain confidential clinical records in line with relevant legislation, and support the development of occupational health operating plans and improvement initiatives. You'll also contribute to the ongoing development of occupational health systems and processes, provide support and guidance to Occupational Health Nursing Advisors, and help drive best practice across the function.

We're looking for a qualified and experienced Occupational Health professional who is passionate about employee wellbeing and capable of influencing positive health outcomes across a large and diverse organisation.

You'll Have
 

• Registration as a Registered Nurse and Occupational Health Practitioner on Parts 1 and 3 of the NMC Register.
• An Occupational Health Degree or Diploma.
• Significant experience managing complex occupational health cases.
• Experience delivering occupational health assessments, health surveillance programmes and fitness for work evaluations.
• Strong stakeholder management and consultancy skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
• Knowledge of current health and safety legislation, guidance and occupational health best practice.
• Experience analysing health trends, producing reports and using data to support decision-making.
• The ability to lead, coach and support occupational health colleagues while maintaining high clinical and governance standards.
