Senior PMO Analyst | FX Trading House - IT

Senior PMO needed for a renowned FX Trading house, working across the Front, middle & back office, you will get exposure to a variety of Projects, products & be an integral part of driving & reporting back on performance measurements & impact.

The firm are seeking a senior PMO, which is a brand-new role, therefore as a senior PMO, you will have the chance to make the opportunity your own, working closely with the Head of IT Delivery & Senior devliery managers, in an autonomous manner.

The firm are going through an exciting Technology Evolution including;

  • Upgrading new off-the-shelf trading platforms
  • Onboarding brand new products & trading line to their trading portfolio
  • Automating their testing estate for more efficient and better quality releases
  • Implementing brand new up to date technologies & upgrades

 

This Senior PMO role provides high-visibility oversight of portfolio performance, governance, and delivery across a complex IT environment.

 

As a senior PMO you will lead the delivery of high-quality portfolio reporting, KPIs, and executive insights, with a strong focus on accuracy and continuous improvement. A key focus is designing automated reporting solutions, including advanced Power BI dashboards using JIRA data. You will partner with delivery teams to maintain a clear IT portfolio view, support Agile reporting, track progress and RAID, and translate complex data into actionable insights for senior leaders.

📍 3 days per week onsite, Hybrid

🧑 💻Experience with: Working in an Agile environment, Power BI, Software development lifecycle exposure. Having worked in a fast paced, regulated, financial services environment.

Key Skill required for the senior PMO role:

  • Advanced Power BI & data visualisation – proven experience designing and enhancing automated, executive-level dashboards, with a strong focus on clarity, accuracy, and insight. Comfortable working with complex datasets, particularly JIRA, to deliver meaningful management information.
  • Portfolio & PMO reporting expertise – strong understanding of IT portfolio management, including Book of Work maintenance, KPI development, progress tracking, RAID management, and delivery assurance across multiple workstreams.
  • Agile delivery & tooling knowledge – hands-on experience supporting Agile delivery reporting, interpreting sprint and programme-level metrics, and partnering with delivery teams to provide consistent and transparent portfolio views.
  • Analytical & insight-driven mindset – able to identify trends, risks, dependencies, and emerging issues, and translate complex data into concise, decision-ready insights for senior stakeholders.
  • Senior stakeholder engagement – confident working with Delivery Managers, Heads of Department, and IT leadership, with the ability to influence, challenge constructively, and drive improvements to reporting and governance standards.
  • Process improvement & automation focus – proactive in improving reporting processes, increasing automation, and raising the overall quality and consistency of portfolio and governance reporting.
