The Senior Pricing Analyst in our Mid Corp Transformation Team will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced pricing models to optimize our product offerings and enhance profitability. This role requires a strong analytical background, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with various departments to achieve strategic objectives. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving pricing initiatives and providing insights that support decision-making processes.

You'll participate in the Global P&C Academy accreditation, enhancing your skills in underwriting, risk engineering, pricing, and claims management while exchanging best practices across the Allianz Group. Furthermore, for pricing-based roles, Allianz Insurance offers a generous study package to enable the actuarial qualification to be obtained through the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in the UK.

Salary Information

Pay: Circa £55,000 per year.

Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.

About You

As the Senior Pricing Analyst focusing on Mid Corp Transformation, you will be responsible for:
 

  • Mapping existing UK rating algorithms into a Group Radar approach so that we can harmonise our rates across all Group operating entities.
  • Analysing the impact of moving rates from UK rating engine into the Group Radar model. Presenting the impact analysis to colleagues and eventually to senior stakeholders for sign off.
  • Supporting integration of an underwriting front end with the new Group Radar. Will include significant integration testing e.g. comparing XML’s of interim values against expected values to identify integration errors.
  • Deployment support in a project environment e.g. producing test packs and working with the team to ensure they are correctly keyed in.

  • Interpret rules and guidelines properly to support decisions.
  • Have full working knowledge of tools appropriate to lines of business worked on (e.g. MS Excel, VBA and SAS (Enterprise Guide and/or Base), Willis Towers Watson Emblem, Classifier and Radar, Micro-strategy.
  • Have relevant Underwriting Academy modules completed or working towards.
  • Have experience in training and coaching junior team members in analysis and use of analysis software
