Reporting into the One Procurement Community (OPC), this role is instrumental in driving category development, aligning procurement operations with sustainability goals, and delivering measurable commercial value across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and enhance procurement excellence in line with Johnson Matthey’s values

• Execute category strategies that deliver sustainable value and commercial agility

• Research and analyze industry trends and supplier capabilities

• Negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring cost efficiency and compliance

• Build and manage strong supplier relationships while fostering supply chain transparency

• Collaborate cross-functionally and globally to implement procurement initiatives

• Support business improvement through effective stakeholder engagement

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, ideally in Indirect procurement

• Expertise in category management, supplier relationship management, and sourcing

• Strong contract negotiation skills covering commercial, technical, and legal aspects

• Experience working across cultures and remote geographies

• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Proven ability to multitask and manage workload efficiently

• A balanced approach to cost, strategy, and operational execution
