Description:
Mode Search is supporting a prestigious heritage fashion brand in its search for a Senior Retail Merchandiser.
Based full-time in the Mayfair Head Office, this role reports to the Retail Merchandising Manager.
Working closely with the Merchandising Manager, you will manage the intake of stock across all channels as well as deliver business wider projects and drive strategy.
You will be in charge of forecasting and execution at the Merchandising level based on each location's requirements and in line with the brand image and global strategy for each product category.
The Role
- Guiding strategy on range including options, depth, and size based on history & and trend, ensuring analysis & and actual buy are reflective of the strategy.
- Assessing & and approving monthly sales & and stock forecasts across all channels, challenging the team to reduce risks & and maximise opportunities
- Working alongside the planning team to improve availability & and ensure replenishment is supporting sales plans.
- Overseeing intake for the division ensuring no late deliveries and quick resolution of trouble shipments
- Maintain a comprehensive library of appropriate data
- Work closely with visual display staff and department heads to decide how goods should be displayed to maximize sales
- Forecast profits and sales, and optimize the sales volume and profitability of designated product areas
- Maintain awareness of competitors' performance
- Analyze the previous season's sales and report on the current season's lines
- Identify production and supply difficulties and deal with any problems or delays as they arise
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years in a similar position in a fashion brand in a retail merchandising-related role
- Advanced command of Excel ( including VLOOKUP and Pivot tables) and data analysis
- Excellent understanding of the UK luxury market
- Valid UK Passport or permanent residency
